Donald Duck gets hit on the head as he was going to light a fire in his chimney. When he wakes up, he is crazed and only obssessed with lighting fires, fires, fires and more fires. And not just any fires -- he wants creative fires. And soon thereafter, Duckburg is hit by numerous large fires. Though Donald is of course blamed for them, he denies lighting such big-scale fires… Huey, Dewey and Louie therefore investigate to find the real culprits.
Behind the scenesEdit
It was printed in 1946. The story has two endings: In the original, Donald ends up behind bars. However, Barks was forced to rewrite the ending, and in the new ending, it is revealed that it was all a dream.
