Synopsis
Seeking shelter from a bad storm Mickey hides in an old dilapidated house. Inside, their are skeletons and after some frightening encounters, they make Mickey play the organ for them to dance to.
Behind The Scenes
On August the 22nd, 1929 The short The Skeleton Dance, the first of the Silly Symphonies, was released to the public. The Haunted House came out just a few weeks before this on August the 1st, 1929 as part of the Mickey Mouse cartoon series. Several scenes from the skeleton dance were directly inspired by this cartoon.
