The Last Adventure is the 23rd and final episode of DuckTales 2017’s Season 3 and the series as a whole, a television cartoon episode. Consisting of three parts, it was written and directed by several members of the DuckTales writing room.
It features the show's versions of Scrooge McDuck, Huey, Dewey, and Louie Duck, Webby Vanderquack, Della Duck, Donald Duck, Mrs. Beakley, Launchpad McQuack, Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera/Gizmoduck, Drake Mallard/Darkwing Duck, Gosalyn Waddlemeyer, Gyro Gearloose, Daisy Duck, Gandra Dee, John D. Rockerduck, Steelbeak, and Ma Beagle. The 2017 Continuum versions of May and June made their debut in the episode. Also featured are the Buzzard Brothers, Manny Jane, Penumbra, Lena De Spell, Violet Sabrewing, Johnny and Randy Empire, B.O.Y.D., Black Heron, Pepper, and Harp. The episodes also feature appearances by the 2017 versions of Duckworth, José Carioca, Panchito Pistoles, Fethry Duck, Gladstone Gander, Ludwig von Drake and Gene the Genie. Numerous characters make only cameo appearances, including Santa Claus, Selene, Zeus, Hack and Slash Smashnikov, Downy O'Drake, and Bombie.
Plot[]
The Duck family and their assorted allies band together in an effort to bring down F.O.W.L. once and for all. However, a failed raid on F.O.W.L. Headquarters beneath Funso's Fun Zone finds the villains fled and a pair of mysterious girls, the family is drawn into an ever-deepening mystery.
