The Living Mummies of Toth-Ra is a cartoon written by Francisco Angones and a team of writers (see Infobox) and directed by Dana Terrace. It features Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck, Scrooge McDuck, Launchpad McQuack, Webby Vanderquack, and, in their debut, Amunet, Toth-Ra and Sabaf.
Plot[]
The Ducks explore the lost pyramid of the Egyptian pharaoh Toth-Ra, and find, to thei surprise, that it is inhabited by a small community of descendants of Toth-Ra's servants, who still worship the tyrannical and supposedly-immortal pharaoh's mummy… Scrooge, Launchpad and the children decide to help the "Living Mummies" realize the error of their ways and rediscover the outside world, but Toth-Ra (and his backstabbing bodyguard Sabaf) seem to have other ideas…
Continuity[]
- Louie Duck is still treasuring the Golden Khopesh he acquires here by the time of the finale of Season 1, Woo-oo! (2017), and he again mentions it among his favorite treasures in Louie's Favorite Treasures (2019).
- In the Season Two episode The Golden Spear (2019), Della Duck mentions "finding the Lost Pyramid of Toth-Ra" among the adventures she would like to have with her kids, unaware that they did this very thing alongside Scrooge McDuck in this episode.
Behind the scenes[]
