The Looped Landscape is a comic story by an unknown writer and drawn by Tony Strobl. It features Jiminy Cricket, Madam Mim and Peg-Leg Pete.

Plot[edit | edit source]

Jiminy Cricket finds himself in a curious land where everything, from mushrooms to waterfalls, is twisted and looped. He eventually discovers that this is Mad Madam Mim's doing; the crazy witch has discovered a new spell that allows her to loop whatever she pleases, and she uses it on everything she sees for her own crazy amusement. Jiminy appoints himself Mim's conscience to tell her to stop, but she refuses to listen to him and loops a highway… which, unexpectedly, proves to be a benevolent move, as it stops wanted bandit Peg-Leg Pete's car in the middle of a chase!

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

This story was only ever printed in English in January of 1969 in Walt Disney Comics Diges #7.
