The Monsters Are Due at McDuck Manor! is a comic story written by Steve Behling and drawn by Gianfranco Florio. It takes place in the 2017 Continuum, featuring Huey, Dewey, and Louie Duck, Webby Vanderquack, Mrs Beakley, and Gyro Gearloose. Mallard Hitchcock is also mentioned, and a number of unnamed bigfoots appear.

Description

Trying to help the kids get past a disagreement about a movie they're trying to make together, Mrs. Beakley sits them all down to watch Vampires vs. Bigfoot. Unfortunately, a mishap with one of Gyro Gearloose's inventions leads to a misadventure inside the film…

References

• Vampires vs. Bigfoot is a somewhat old fantasy-horror movie known to Bentina Beakley.
• The Ducklings are sent into the television world by Gyro Gearloose's Multi-Dimensionator, and it is eventually revealed that their use of the Multi-Dimensionator on the movie actually altered reality.

Continuity

• Dewey Duck mentions "having worked with Mallard Hitchcock, the greatest horror director of all time", in a direct reference to the events of The Repeating Revenge of the Screaming Duck (2017).
• Huey Duck previous encountered a real Sasquatch in the promotional short Meet Huey (2016). His brother Louie Duck faced down another in The Other Bin of Scrooge McDuck (2018).
• Bentina Beakley's half-admitted interest in moviemaking is echoed in the TV episode Friendship Hates Magic (2019), where Beakley takes the lead in an attempt to create a full-blown Darkwing Duck fanfilm with Launchpad McQuack.
