The Pirate Plot is a comic story drawn by Al Hubbard. It features Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, Captain Hook, his pirate crew, the Lost Boys, the Tick-Tock Crocodile and Mr Smee.


Having heard that sailors like Captain Hook's crew keep track of the time using a large bell, Peter Pan gets it into his mischievous head to filch the bell. He does so, and Captain Hook, naturally outraged, decides to take revenge by taking Peter's own "bell"… Tinker Bell, that is. And that pixie-napping is, in usual Hook fashion, only the first step of a devilish plan…

Behind the scenesEdit

This story was first printed in the United States of America, in the 1958 Four Color Comics #896. It was later reprinted in 1990 in Peter Pan #1. It was also printed in English in the Australian Giant #193 and #567, as well as serialized in the British Walt Disney's Weekly between issues 1961-16 and 1961-17, and printed in The Disney Classic Collection #2, Disney's Studio Album #6, Disney's Studio Album #1994D, and World Distributors #48.
