The Red Duck is a comic story written by Paul Halas and Tom Anderson and drawn by José Colomer Fonts. It features Donald Duck, Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck, Gyro Gearloose, the Red Duck, J. Arthur Codwallis and his ancestor, Mayor Eugene Codwallis.

Plot[]

Donald Duck's new neighor is the snob J. Arthur Codwallis, who prides himself for being the descendant of one of Duckburg's first mayors, Eugene Codwallis, and is thus outraged to have to look at Donald's unkept lawn all day. Donald, annoyed by Codwallis's bragging, makes a bet that his ancestor were even higher Duckburgian figures than Eugene Codwallis. To prove it, he takes a trip to 1726 Duckburg (thanks to Gyro Gearloose's latest time machine) where they come across their ancestor… Alas, he is not a respected member of society but a bloodthirsty pirate known as the Red Duck. To win their bet against Codwallis, Donald decides to impersonate the Red Duck (who looks just like him) and, in this guise, make him respectable…
