The Ring of Stone is a comic story drawn by Jack Manning. It features Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Shamrock Bones, and, in their debut, the Master Wizard and his people.
Plot[]
Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto and Shamrock Bones, while visiting some ancient Celtic ruins from before the Roman conquest of Britain, are somehow sent back in time to just before the Romans' arrival, and must square off against a close-minded sorcerer.
Behind the scenes[]
The Ring of Stone was first printed in November of 1972 in Mickey Mouse #139, and was only ever reprinted in English in the Australian Mickey Mouse #198 the very next year.
