The Risk McDuck Refused

The Risk McDuck Refused is a comic story written by Joey Cavalieri and drawn by Gianfranco Florio. It takes place in the 2017 Continuum, featuring Scrooge McDuck, Donald Duck, Huey, Dewey, and Louie Duck, Webby Vanderquack, as well as Doctor Hubblescope and Donna Duckerty in their debuts. Rip Van Wrinkle is also mentioned, and several unnamed lab workers and gold prospectors appear.

Description[]

Feeling his considerable age after his latest adventure with the kids, Scrooge returns to Rip Van Wrinkle's Laboratory to try out the Days of Yore Door. With the device, Scrooge can make a fresh start in the past, reliving his adventurous youth without the impediment of old age. But the past isn't without its perils, and an even greater hazard may be looming without Scrooge even realizing it…
