The Seven Dwarfs and the Witch-Queen is a comic story written by Floyd Gottfredson and drawn by Julius Svendsen. It features the Seven Dwarfs and Grimhilde, and mentions Snow White as well.

The Wicked Witch Grimhilde has cooked up a plan to get rid of the Seven Dwarfs once and for all: she poisons their stew with a shrinking potion. Luckily, Dopey hasn't eaten any of the stew, and despite the Witch's evil takes it upon himself to rob her lair for a cure and bring it back to the other Dwarfs.

Behind the scenesEdit

This story was first printed between March and April 1958 in American newspapers in nine installments. A portion of the story was reprinted in the British Walt Disney's Weekly #1961-12 (under the title Magic Stew). It was later reprinted in whole in Treasury of Classic Tales #2, and, of course, in the Floyd Gottfredson Library.
