The Shy Ghost, also printed as Ghostly Attraction, is a comic story thought up by Mike Sharland, scripted by Jack Sutter and drawn by Vicar. It features Scrooge McDuck, Donald Duck, and, in their first appearances, Sir Harold and the McDuck Ancestor in the Portrait.


Scrooge McDuck hires Donald to market a haunted manor he has bought. Donald soon gets to work, but it seems public (after)life just isn't ghostly Sir Harold's cup of tea…


Behind the scenesEdit

Created in later 1988, this story was first printed in October of 1989 in the German Mickey Maus #1989-42. It was printed in English that same year in the British The Disney Magazin #2-155, under the title of Ghostly Attraction, before being printed in the United States of America in 2005 in Mickey Mouse #281, with localization by Donald D. Markstein.
