Description

Young Scrooge McDuck travels to the Transvaal in Africa in search of gold. There he meets Flintheart Glomgold for the very first time (although he never learns his name). Glomgold, pretending to be a kindly stranger, waits until Scrooge has fallen asleep, then steals everything in his camp. Scrooge tracks him down, tars and feathers him, and has him jailed. This prompts Glomgold to swear revenge on Scrooge.
