Behind the scenes[]
Written in July of 1948, this story was first printed in December of the same year in Four Color Comics #203, it was reprinted in Gold Key's Walt Disney's Christmas Parade #4, Gladstone's Walt Disney's Christmas Parade #2 and Fantagraphics's Donald Duck Family Comics #2; it was, of course, also reprinted in the various Carl Barks Libraries.
