Time Teasers is a cartoon written by Anthony Adams and directed by David Block. It features Scrooge McDuck, Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck, Gyro Gearloose, three of the Beagle Boys (namely Bankjob, Babyface and Bebop), a cameo by Ma Beagle, and the first-ever appearances of Captain Blackheart and Marilyn.
Overworked Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck get a hold of Gyro Gearloose's newest gizmo, the Time-Teaser — an improved successor to the Stopwatch which allows them to "stop time" at will, by making its user move at incredible speeds. Unfortunately, three Beagle Boys get a hold of the device, and, even worse, misuse it badly enough to end up time-traveling to the year 1687…
- Don Rosa would later write the story On Stolen Time (1991), written to take place earlier than Time Teasers, where Gyro Gearloose invents an apparent prototype for the Time-Teaser in the form of the Stopwatch.
- The DuckTales 2017 episode The 87 Cent Solution (2019) shows that the series' counterpart to Gyro also invented his own Time-Teaser, later stolen by Flintheart Glomgold.
