Too Late for Christmas is a comic story written by Ron Fernadez and drawn by Pat Block. It features Witch Hazel, Beelzebub, Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck, Donald Duck, one of Hazel's Monsters, Gladstone Gander and Goofy.
Witch Hazel has transferred all of her magic into a small spellbook, hoping to use it as a "Wishing Book" for a little while. Unfortunately, due to her living calendar getting mixed up, she goes out of her castle, thinking that it is Halloween. When she learns that it is, in fact, Christmas, a time of year that she naturally loathes, she is so shocked that she drops the spellbook… which quickly falls into the hands of Gladstone Gander. Stranded at Donald and Huey, Dewey and Louie's home for the night, Witch Hazel is progressively forced to get into the holiday spirit… and maybe, who knows? To perform a good deed on Christmas Eve!
Behind the scenes
This story was first printed in December of 1994 in Donald Duck Adventures #30. It is a sequel to Trick or Treat, presumably taking place the very next year, as it is noted that this is Donald's second-ever encounter with the mad old witch.
