Description[]
Tubby O'Brien was a child of about eleven in 1924, living in the same neighborhood as Alice. For all 'tubby' that he was, Tubby was also rather strong, and bullied younger children along with his "gang". Seven-year-old Alice was the only one who dared to stand up to him — and did she ever, giving him quite a thrashing after he ruined her homemade "wild west show".

Tubby O'Brien debuted in the 1924 Alice Comedies cartoon Alice's Spooky Adventure, and appeared in several more of the same series.
