The Vampire State Building is a fearsomely tall skyscraper in central Duckburg, not too far from the Money Bin. Around 1953, Scrooge McDuck chased a pigeon up the building in an effort to regain an extremely valuable coin, only for it to fall and be flattened by a passing steamroller, rendering it worthless.
Behind the scenes[]
The Vampire State Building appears in the 1954 story Secret of Atlantis. It is unclear if it is owned by a person or company called Vampire, if it belongs to an actual vampire or vampire state, or if it is simply named after the (supposedly) mythical creature.
