Washing-Up is a comic strip written by Bas Schuddeboom and Jim van der Weele, and drawn by Marga Querol Manzano. It features Madam Mim and Witch Hazel and mentions a character called Tanneke (possibly intended to be Mammy Bammy).
Plot
As they share a meal, Madam Mim and Witch Hazel discuss a new spell that their witch colleague Tanneke has been developing.
Behind the scenes
This story was first printed in the Dutch Donald Duck #2009-17, and was later rereleased on the Donald Duck Weekbald Facebook account. It has never been officially released in English.
It is not clear if the Tanneke mentioned in this story is a reference to the historical alleged witch Tanneke Sconyncx, or to the swamp-dwelling witch Mammby Bammy, originally from the Brer Rabbit Sunday pages, whose Dutch name is "Anneke Tanneke Toverheks".
