Wendy Rogers, née Wendy Darling, is a human woman.
Description[]
In the beginning of the 20th century, Wendy Darling was the eldest daughter of George and Mary Darling. Fascinated with stories of Peter Pan, she delighted in telling them to her younger brothers John and Michael. Peter found her to be an excellent storyteller and often listened to the stories himself from the windowsill. One evening, the Darling children finally saw him and befriended him; from then on, Wendy and her siblings would often travel to Neverland with him, with Wendy becoming very close with Peter.
As Wendy left childhood and became a grown woman, she progressively stopped going to Neverland and drifted away from Peter Pan, although she never stopped believing as her father had. She married a kindly man called Edward Rogers and had two children of her own, Jane and Danny, whom she both regaled with stories of Peter Pan. In 1940, after Jane travelled to Neverland herself, Wendy met Peter Pan again after so many years. After their initial, emotion-filled reunion, they appear to have rekindled a friendship, and Wendy was cognizant of it whenever Peter whisked her children off to Neverland, making him promise to protect them.
