Behind the scenes[]
This short was released in June of 2015 on the official LEGO Dimensions YouTube channel, the second out of three comedic shorts released to tie in with the release of LEGO Dimensions. When Monkeys Fly is the only one to feature a directly Prime Universe-adjacent character, the Wicked Witch of the West, though the third (Doctor, Doctor, Doctor) does feature the Doctor, who has also crossed over into the Disney comics universe separate from LEGO Dimensions.
