Who Is Gizmoduck? is a cartoon written by Chris Magalhaes (along with DuckTales 2017's normal team of writers) and directed by Tanner Johnson. It features Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck, Scrooge McDuck, Donald Duck, Mark Beaks, Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera (and his alter-ego Gizmoduck), the Beagle Boys, Flintheart Glomgold, Sirius Axeldent, Roxanne Featherly, the Headless Man-Horse, and, in her debut, M'ma Crackshell-Cabrera. The fictional cast of Patos de la Pasión (Diego, Diego's Triplet Brother and Diego's Triplet Sister) are also featured.
Description
After more and more heroics, Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera's robotic identity Gizmoduck has become famous and Huey Duck's idol. The "famous" part catches the attention of hype-maniac Mark Beaks, who attempts a corporate (and, if possible, corporal) takeover of the Gizmoduck brand and suit.

It is implied that the loan Donald is applying for at the beginning is related to the damage suffered by his houseboat in JAW$.
The bank Gizmoduck foils the robbery at is named the First National Bank. This is an allusion to Fenton's voice actor, Lin-Manuel Miranda, writing and starring in Hamilton (Alexander Hamilton founded America's first national bank).
