While Donald and his nephews visit Grandma Duck at her farm for a week, Huey, Dewey, and Louie offer to help out with all of her farm chores. But Donald, not wanting to work on vacation, fakes an injury each day to avoid it. But Grandma Duck sees through his ruses, and has a plan to make Donald regret his lies....

Behind the scenes Edit

Wise Grandma Duck was published as volume #10 of the Walt Disney Beginner Reader Fun-To Read Library series in 1986.

The story features the common mistake of Huey, Dewey, and Louie addressing Donald as "Uncle", rather than "Unca".
