The “Yankee Doodle Girls” were a group of 1920's dancers.
Description[]
The Yankee Doodle Girls were a dancing act led by Minnie Mouse in the late 1920's. A poster for it was present on the façade of Silo Center's Opry House on the day of Mickey Mouse's one-man “big vaudeville show”. Aside from Minnie herself, four backup dancers who were also anthropomorphic mice were visible on that poster.
Behind the scenes[]
The Yankee Doodle Girls poster appears on a background in the 1929 Mickey Mouse cartoon The Opry House.
